Rock Balancing

Safe and Sound Protocol or SSP is a listening program designed by Polyvagal Theorist Dr. Stephen Porges. An easy to use protocol, SSP involves listening to filtered music which sends a message of safety to the autonomic nervous system. This therapy has been shown to decrease symptoms of PTSD, improve sensory sensitivities, increase nervous system resiliency (which means stressful situations become easier to cope with), and improves emotional regulation.

Emotional Freedom Technique
The Emotional Freedom Technique is an Energy Psychology intervention that has a 98% effectiveness rate. Using tapping on acupressure points, and guidance from the therapist, EFT regulates the nervous system, creating a new felt experience with the memory of a stressor. Specific protocols are used to address the layered effects of trauma with care, compassion, and intuition.

Hypnosis and Rapid Resolution Therapy

These therapies engage the subconscious mind using imagery, relaxation, story and memory reconsolidation techniques. Hypnosis can be woven into mindfulness practices to create a deeper experience of the present.

Trauma Therapy

Although trauma therapy involves talking, it is much different than traditional talk therapy. Trauma therapy techniques involve regulating the nervous system's response to a memory using active approaches involving awareness of bodily sensations and several other techniques discussed on this page.
