Therapy for Anxiety in Altamonte Springs

Break free from the patterns of worry, perfectionism, and isolation.

Build the life you deserve to live with confidence.

If anxiety is keeping you stuck, isolated, or overwhelmed, you’re not alone — there is a way through it.

Anxiety can show up in so many ways—some obvious, others subtle but just as exhausting. Maybe you find yourself avoiding certain situations or conversations because they feel too overwhelming. Perhaps panic attacks come out of nowhere, leaving you feeling out of control. You might spend your days people-pleasing or striving for perfection, afraid of disappointing others or making a mistake.

Sometimes it looks like procrastinating tasks that feel too big to tackle or fidgeting constantly just to stay grounded. Racing thoughts can make it hard to fall asleep—or stay asleep—and you might catch yourself picking at your skin, hair, or nails without even realizing it.

However anxiety shows up for you, know that you're not alone—and it doesn’t have to stay this way.

Anxiety doesn’t just live in your mind—it weaves its way into every corner of your life.

It can make relationships feel tense, as you overthink what you said or worry about being a burden. At work or school, perfectionism and procrastination might be draining your energy, making even simple tasks feel overwhelming. You may feel stuck in a cycle of doing too much for others and not enough for yourself, leaving you emotionally and physically depleted. Sleep might not come easily, which only adds to the fogginess and fatigue during the day. Even your body feels it—tight shoulders, stomach aches, racing heart, or the unconscious urge to fidget or pick at your skin. Over time, this constant state of alert can leave you feeling disconnected—from others, from joy, and even from yourself.

There's a Way Through This -And You Don't Have to Do it Alone

Imagine waking up without that familiar sense of dread in your chest—feeling more grounded, clear, and capable of facing the day ahead.

Through therapy, you can learn how to respond to anxiety with curiosity instead of fear, giving you the tools to calm racing thoughts and reconnect with your body. You might find yourself setting boundaries without guilt, saying “no” when you need to, and no longer stretching yourself thin to please others. Tasks that once felt paralyzing—sending that email, making a phone call, speaking up in a meeting—begin to feel manageable, even empowering. Your sleep improves, your body relaxes, and you notice having more control over your thoughts. You may notice you’re laughing more, breathing more deeply, and showing up in your relationships as your true, calm self.

Life doesn’t become perfect—but it becomes more peaceful, more present, and more you.

My Approach to Anxiety Healing

Anxiety isn’t just in your head—it lives in your whole body. That’s why I take a holistic, mind-body approach to therapy, helping you understand and work with your nervous system, not against it. Together, we’ll explore not only the thoughts and patterns that fuel anxiety, but also how it shows up physically—tightness in your chest, restlessness in your hands, or the constant urge to stay busy. We'll look at physical symptoms and possible health-related causes, finding the right resources for your individual needs.

In our work, I’ll offer practical tools you can use to manage stress in any area of life—whether it’s relationships, work, family, or your inner critic. We'll integrate somatic therapy, which focuses on body awareness and regulation, helping you notice and gently shift physical sensations connected to anxiety. I also offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)—a gentle, evidence-based listening therapy that supports your nervous system in feeling safer, calmer, and more connected. These approaches are designed to help you move out of survival mode and into a place where you can feel more present, resilient, and at ease.
